Just banned a Aimbot player. name was in different language, but he was killing several with 1 shots multiple kills, sorry I did not get steam ID , but I don't think I needed 1.

Not only did you not get a Steam number but you need a demo for proof.

If you do not know how to record a demo:

- Enable developer console
- To start a demo, type in the console: "record NAMEOFTHEDEMO"
*NAMEOFTHEDEMO can be anything but can't have any spaces in the name, underscores work. Ex: record Aj_demo
- To stop the recording simply type "stop" in console.

- To find the file go to your steam folder -> Steamapps -> Day Of Defeat Source -> dod -> locate the file here.

Next time please get the steam ID and record a demo.

Sorry my first perm ban with out this demo know how knowledge. i did do a test demo & found the file, but i cant review it, how do i upload it to the forums and such?

To play the demo, open up dods and type "playdemo demoname" in console, replacing demoname with whatever you named the demo.

Then type "demoui" in console and a menu with play/pause/speed up etc will appear so you can mess around with the playback.

• "demoui2" also brings up a playback menu but just a different style.

To upload it on the forums, when you press the POSTREPLY button (or if you click Quick Reply, click Full Editor), you'll see a tab called Upload attachment under the Save draft/Preview/Submit button, where you can find the demo file and upload it.
