Need help with some "artwork"

Postby Brig.Gen.X-Mas » Tue Jan 15, 2013 2:37 pm

I have done an essay for school and with that essay I need to make a timeline since it's about literature history in different time periods, like the Middle ages and the Renaissance.
So I'm looking for someone who has better editing software than me (MS Paint) that can make something a little cooler than I can for me :)
I'll include an image of how it should be like so you know what you need to write.

You can check MS Powerpoint. There are several ways to make figures like yours. Click on Smart Art and then select processes. Different colors, fonts, sizes...
Hope you got the latest version of it ;)
Good luck! =)

That should be the latest version I think. Mine is also from 2010 and there are many usefull ways in it to make such diagrams. I used those slides for all presentations in school. When you spend some time wigh it you can also save your illustrations for further use in the future so you can just edit for example some numbers and still have the timeline you want ;)

Is the 2012 version worth getting? Or does it have only a few differences from previous ones?

Honestly, it's the same thing. Wait for 2013. I don't think 2012 is for windows. It's for Macs only, but I may be wrong.

X-Mas, either what Neck said or you can do it online on http://www.drive.google.com > Create > Drawing

But I'd say use Office 2010 because it has great features and the smart art or w.e it's called is advanced. It's easy to use and has Presets.
