traded all my guns

Postby Lt.Gen.whatbutton » Mon Oct 15, 2012 1:35 am

I traded all my guns for this sweet baby. I traded a CZ P-07 and a Winchester 30-30 level action and a shotgun. Along with all my ammo and kevlar helmet and some cash. This is a FN Herstal FS2000. Looks like the damn thing is out of halo or something. It shoots 5.56x45mm nato and is way shorter than and AR but is just as accurate and it's a bullpup!

Next gun i get is my CZ P-07 back. I miss it so.

Ah, the F2000, that's what I meant. FAD and F2000 are similar a bit.

How's the trigger?

I've never shot an FS2000 but every other bullpup I've shot -- PS90 (civilian version of the P90), AUG, and the Kel-Tec RFB -- had pretty bad triggers.

It's one of the few downsides to a bullpup. The design necessitates a looooooooong linkage between the trigger and action.

i haven't shot it yet, but the trigger system is suppose to be the same as a PS90. i don't see how that's possible because it chambers rounds differently than the PS90

This is the civilian version of the F2000. I'm looking at the footage from MW2 and they have the iron sights wrong. Also this video i found (my source of data for the game) says that the recoil is high and has a lot of flash, while i haven't fired it yet and mine is semi auto, all the reviews of the real gun say very little recoil is felt because you have twice the area on the buttstock to absorb recoil and there is a massive piece of rubber as the butt of the gun. Also it comes with a flash suppressor
Also the model they used for the gun looks way weird. it doesn't have those vertical ribs on the left hand side under the changing handle and the gun in the video looks about 2 inches too high.

I think the next gun I get after I get my CZ back is going to be an AK47 or AK74, preferably a bullpup also.

Recoil? It's a .223, not a .300 Win Mag. Even without the pad, stock design, and gas operation it would have less felt recoil than your .30-30.

The firing mechanism has nothing to do with what round a gun is chambered for. Think about an AR -- pull off the standard .223 upper and slap on a 7.62x39 (or whatever else) upper. The firing mechanism (trigger, trigger spring, hammer, sear, disconnector, etc.) are still the same.
