Need help with a spray.

Hello guys.
I imported a spray to DOD:S, and everything seemed to work fine, BUT im the only one who can see it in-game. Anybody knows how to fix this?

You aren't the only one. There are a few others who have the same problem. I always have thought it may be a Console Command that may be able to fix it because Sprays are similar to decals and Console allows you to change settings for display, decals, and stuff like that.

I had a problem with sprays by loading them up. It always said to me, that the file was corrupt even though it was within the frames in terms of pixels and size. Anyways, I used the program SprayR to fix the problem. It automatically puts the file you want into the spray file. Maybe that one will help you

i have the same problem.. i have used ever possible solution out there and i was still not able to fix it

you guys figured out a solution??
I added a spray logo ans saved it as .tga data. I can see the spray but no one else can see it..
is it because the server disabled some kinds of sprays or is it caused by some other factors?
please help!

Hey guys,
Try this, it might help:

Go to this location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\<your user>\day of defeat source\dod\cfg

Open the file that says "Config" in notepad and press CTRL+F. Type "cl_playerspraydisable" without the "". The number in quotation marks after cl_playerspraydisable should be set to "0". That could be your problem. I hope this helps.

already got it. tried it..failed.... I can see the logo but no one else.

Seeing as this is a on-going problem, try and contact Steam Support and make a ticket: https://support.steampowered.com/newticket.php. For product choose Day of Defeat: Source and for category choose Game/DLC Questions. They might take a few days up to a week to reply, it depends on how many people are making tickets. If you don't have a Steam Support account, make one.
