German

Postby M/Sgt.Croaker (RO) » Sat Dec 29, 2012 1:23 pm

Hey guys, I have finally decided to try to sit down and start to learn German on my own. Since my school only teaches French an Spanish. Would any of you have any recommendations for websites or any of that? I do not have a lot of money to spend on a lot of programs, or books.

You'll find when you're learning German that when 2 Germans are talking to each other, it will seem like they are speaking like a train and you can't keep up. :P You will understand words and phrases and will probably be able to piece together what they're saying. It's what happened with me when I started learning French. You'll get used to it and one day you will probably be one of those people speaking fast aswell! :D

I probably will the thing that I find hard about most if it is that you can either speak formal or none. That an the way you create sentences with the words.
