My IC3 certificate

Postby Maj.Roebuck581 (RO) » Sat Sep 07, 2013 11:20 pm

This is the certificate I had received after taking a three part test on Computer Engineering, Software, and Networking. It's a international test that is very hard and taken by the most serious computer engineer in the world. I was given this by my principal and my computer shop teacher. I only got it and I'm only 15! That's a very good accomplishment.

Good work!

Now start preparing for your CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+ certifications.

Congratz! Any computer certificate as a teen is good. As Jersey said, work on the CompTIA Certifications. CompTIA A+ series is more powerful for your job resume. So are the Cisco Certs(5 of them, but hard, lots of studying). I'm planning on taking the CompTIA A+ Cert during the 2nd half of this year. You can also go for Strata IT, http://certification.comptia.org/getCer ... ntals.aspx
Great intro to the CompTIA A+ and it's fairly easy(friend took it recently).

While I still think Comptia A+ is a good cert to have, and I have mine for life before they changed the rules on it, industry standard is more along with all the MC's and CCNA will land you better positions and look better. A+, Net+, Security+, and even linux+ are all good rounders just not really game changers. But in the end grats man on getting the IC3
