On my watch list, will 'buy now' very soon, waiting on a check ("in the mail") ... HCigar even
Yep, just won a $25 gift from camel smokes (ironically) .... and after listening to busardos hour long video
(
http://youtu.be/m1Th2lX8tCU )about the mini & nano subtank ... he had mentioned a new coil maker on the market. So, went to their website, and almost spent the entire $ on one coiler. Ran into a snag with PayPal, they didn't like my gift 'card', googled coil-master and found it cheaper than hell. Here is that order, even had a dollar left over to upgrade shipping through Netherlands lol
Cheap enough I was able to buy one for my buddy too, as well, try out some drip tips ... can't wait to try the bullet.

This box mod, will go up to 100W, yes. But...you have your ohms crossed. The higher wattage, pushes harder, so can light up 20ga. or straight up zap 28ga. (only in theory, safeties in place won't let you).
So, 100W is "approved" as follows:
.25
.3
.4
.5
.6
Those will take advantage of the 100W .... but if I run, say, a carto at 2ohms, I'm still only going to hit with 3.7-3.9V with about 10-15W. The higher the ohm, the slower it will 'work' with any device. I had to do a double-take on that too, cuz you'd think, now you could up the ohms, but that's not how Watts works. We have the same amperage as before, and that will dictate what the coils do ultimately. Here's an example, as I understand it.... when in college, learning machining, we had what is called a "plunge edm" machine. (
http://youtu.be/NJZeyEejxWc ) What it does, in a nutshell, is, takes the form of whatever you machine into carbon. Yep, huge chunks of the same stuff in pencils that is left on the paper. It cuts like butter, and you can put fine detail into it (usually with CNC), set it up in a lathe and make a stem of 3" off the opposite end of the detail. Now, affix the stem into the plunge edm, affix your steal to the work area. Fill the work area with D50 oil, is very light, almost like a brake fluid. (I am getting to the point here lol)
O-scope. Oscilloscope technically, that is part of the EDM machine (electrical discharge machine) control board. You set your volts for depth of 'cut' (charge). If you want more detail, you crank up the watts and watch the O-scope until you see the electricity wavelengths cinch up ... similar to increasing the speed of a cutting tool. (finer finish)
Point: Watts is only a mathematical twist of voltage, has more to do with how it is output ...*shrug*
So, ya, check into that, you'll be surprised what the higher Wattage actually does as far as ohmage.
OK, I've been procrastinating, back to dishes...
