I've seen this at the bottom of our forums page for a long time but never got around to ask and have been curious about it. Anyone remember what was going on at 3 in the morning on that date that attracted so many people?

Full server probably with problems ... oddly, that does bolster forum traffic.

If there are team killers and hackers (myg0t) that are there just to cause problems, and then the forum link is ran through the typical messages, everyone gets the same idea at once to go to the forums and call out the offenders.

Drama creates traffic I've found :p

I never noticed that message at the bottom. As for the time, it won't be the same for everyone. The time for me was Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:23 pm. So the time would have been different for everyone. But I guess seeing as this is an American based website, it would have been pretty early in the morning for you guys over there.

Now it's 763? I don't think thats legit because there aren't even that many registered users on the forums.

I'll wade through the server logs, but that number does include unregistered visitors.

It was a bug. On 08/26/2013, there were a total of 181 visits which came from 68 different persons, which is nothing out of the ordinary for this site.

I reset the "most users ever online" to get rid of that erroneous statistic.
