The SRRP Scrim Team Member - An Extensive Guide

Hello everyone, seeing as this is the second year in a row of having a large Scrim Team, I figured I'd set up a guide for all you new guys, along with some tips for everyone.

1) Practice as often as possible with both Rifleman classes. In a scrimmage/realism classes are limited. Most of the time you get - 1 Assault , 1/2 Support , 0/1 MG , 0/1 Rocket , 1 Sniper and the rest of the men are Rifles.

Rifleman must have accuracy and a good rate of fire, in the first week of scrimmages we will ONLY use Rifles, Rifle grenades and the occasional Pistol.

2) Ranks don't often matter in a Realism/Scrim Team for us. We go by three ranks in our Scrim Teams, Captain-Sergeant-Member.

Never have your Captain and your Sergeant on the same squad, These are usually experienced members of a realism/scrim team unit and will often get at least a kill or two. They will also have the best strategies since they will have further training in Tactics.

3) The second week, in this second week we will have classes picked out for you , you will then have to practice as often as possible with said weapon. Upon doing so practice this:

Rifleman: You must practice, Zoomed into the Irons, Crouching , No zooming in , Proning and Rifle Grenades.

Assault: You must practice aiming higher on a target for more often doing 40 damage/Headshots, also practice with using the smoke grenade effectively for your team.

Support: Use the duel grenade tactic, Throw a primed then another to direct the enemy players into a given location. Use not only single shot and full-auto, but also work on 3-6 round bursts.

Sniper: You must be able to quick-switch , also you must have a level of accuracy without scoping. We will do a lot of work with this.

MG: You must be able to effectively cover your team along with killing enemies without being set-up.

Rocket: Not usually used, just know how to in-case.

3) The Realism, You will only have one life , play this like you would actually do something in a real battle. Cover your team and make sure to not get blind-sided. If you don't do something right, you will have some extra exercises in the practices following that realism.

You must be able to do all of the above, but also show how to properly act as a member of the previous Scrim-Team. You will often be called on for an example.

Please begin practicing upon reading this.

You will also need to know what to do if both your Capt and Sgt fall in combat, you must know how to take control and lead your team to victory for the Pack!

*Chain of Command*

In our scrim teams we will have 1 Captain per team, 1 Sergeant per team, 1-3 Veteran members per team and 1-6 New members of a team.

If both the Captain and Sergeant die the Veteran members will need to take control and lead the new members to victory.

Ranking Responsibilities

Captain: You will have to take extra time per practice to learn every tactic, every easier way of winning. You will also need to go to the maps chosen for you to know an amount of knowledge per map. After learning about the given information you will then need to practice the tactics with your team, teach them to your Sergeant and show everyone the map spots.

Sergeant: You will have to take a smaller amount of extra time per practice to back-up and learn what your Captain is, the map is up to him along with teaching you everything he's been taught. It is your job to organize your men into smaller attack squads. You are also in-charge in the event of your Captain dying.

Head Veteran Member: This will be given out by the Captain to the most dedicated Veteran Member, this job is just like the sergeant however upon getting this, you are the 3rd in command of your unit.

Veteran Member: You will learn from the sergeant what squads you are in along with you being taught by the Sergeant the tactics. It is your responsibility to assume command upon both deaths of your Capt and Sgt. You will need to know the maps and tactics.

New/Regular members: You will learn from your three higher ranking members to know what to do, where to go and everything else needed. You must show up on time and prepare to learn special class choices.

Any questions ask Greenwood for this particular part
