Been noticing a few anomalies while playing on the server for about a week now .

For instance, when firing a rocket through the tower base doorways from one side of the map to the other it will not impact on the wall like it usually does, but will pass through unexploded.

Key voice commands sometimes take 2 or 3 attempts before they work.

Sometimes no sound association when getting hit by a rocket or rifle round or the reverse.

I used to see these type of anomalies on a clan server I used to belong to a couple of years ago only theirs became much worse over time & required some programming adjustments. Sometimes just resetting the server would work for a while but eventually the problems would return.

Just a heads-up in case anyone else has noticed this too.

Also, why does the server crash so often during each session?

Here the same.

Bodies fly not in time away caused by explosions, people "walk" on after being shot (and the kill is registered, too), the animations of explosions are missing like Stohr explained it with the rockets.

And yeah, sounds are missing too! For example, sometimes I don't hear the rifle grenades firing from the down to the top.


Seems like there is a 2 seconds gap between the action and the message from the server.

Not sure, but I would guess it's the quality of the server provider. That would have a lot to do with lag and timing if they are over quota of customers (trying to put more strain on their hardware than it's designed for).

Was playing last night, suspected some bs, so went to spec ............ crash. Emptied server :(

Well, i had an update on Left 4 Dead 2, and there is also some serious bullsh... since a few days... doesn't matter where i play, both games are quite weird.

im noticing the sniper firing but not firing so i get a kill and the sniper reloads but nothing in between

update your source mod its older then my dog
1.meta mod V you're running 1.9.3 ? Run 1.10.0 and source mod is out dated.
you got to keep up with the updates that's y they're there. When your server is running out dated app's the issues may happen like rockets going though ppl, no rocket damage, server strikes. Errors will cause the server to stress and crash, its not the server provider

yeah i also noticed that.
and like Stewart said there is a bug with the sniper rifle. you cant hear the shot but the bullet takes their way and if u hit somebody you get the kill.

I get that a lot, I think it's only with us sniper tho. I wonder whether it is only for u that u do not hear the shot?

it is just sometimes when i scope and shoot i cant hear the shot but the shot has been taken (u can see the hole of the bullet or if i hit the enemy), then i have to reload as usual and i can take the next shot. it is a little bit confusing sometimes xD
