RTV should be enabled soon when Riddick gets around to it. Complain all you want about it, this is a test to see if our server popularity goes down at all. Also switched out Donner with Orange Twin Tower 2008 V2.

I think you're misunderstanding my point. I'm definitely not complaining about the map rotation series or that we don't (or didn't) have rtv. Personally I have no opinion one way or the other about rtv. My comment was to bring to light the fact that the rotation series was being undermined by different admins, at different times, based on player preferences but it looks like you guys are getting that all ironed out.

I realize this is a test of sorts and, from what I can tell so far players, including myself, are learning to like the different maps quite a bit.

hello dear SRRP members/admins... these days after the " map rotation" its like the server are empty everytime i want to play... maybe you Guys should stop the rotation, and let it be on the standard map, the map every1 loves.

the point is, that all the players loved the standard orange map...

This is only my opinion.

This is just a test to see how people like it.

Btw, we should add towers textured because a lot of people yesterday liked it. They all commented on how good it was.

Ive been encouraging players that complain in server to come to the forums and give their opinions, may I suggest we all do that, so we're not just going by player #s?

That may lead to only the ones that hate it weighing in, but it lets them vent a little and those that do complain should be listened to as they are the regulars that love v3_op and may go elsewhere.

It's sad to see the server dead late at night imo.
Maybe have "rotation weekends" (Fri/Sat), and -during the week- only play v3_op when player counts are down (during the weekend, more people can play).
This would still give us our edge, and those that like the rotation system would get their fill on the weekend too.

When the map switches, like the textured one, I get the disconnect because the map is missing. I've played a ton of hours of DOD here and play here because of the orange maps. My laptop just can't handle the detailed maps.

When that happens, go to console and type this:

cl_allowdownload 1

press enter

cl_downloadfilter all

press enter

I had the same problem I put those to commands in my config file so it doesn't happen anymore.

I was on last night and I had to really watch for AFKs and spectators because the server was always full. :?
