Greetings!

Postby Nehemiah » Sun Nov 24, 2013 9:55 pm

I wanted to stop in and say hello. My son -Drewboy and I have been hanging on your server the last couple days. I've been playing DoD off and on since 2000 but I must confess its been a while and I'm quite rusty. My son has just recently reached an age where I'm comfortable letting him play and he loves it. But, I'm still not ready to allow him a mic.

Thanks for providing a fairly clean server. We will certainly follow your rules to the best of our abilities. Although, I would ask that if possible you might show a little grace and mercy when it comes to tK-ing for my son. Drewboy isn't the fastest typer and he might not get an apology out very quick. I can assure you he knows better than to purposely kill a teammate.

Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you guys in-game.

Nehemiah

It's good to be back!

Thanks for choosing our server. We're also very strict to provide a clean server for people who dislike Pornography,Profanity and other things people don't take in concideration for every person to enjoy.

if for some reason he does get banned, post an appeal request in the bans and appeals section of the forums.
but please keep in mind, you are not expected to respond immediately after a tk, its just whether you respond in a respectable amount of time (1min) or whether it is intentional or not.
hopefully ill see you in game!

May I suggest binding a key that replies "I'm sorry for the team kill".

Welcome aboard

Type the bind command in console.
Bind command: Bind "o" "say I'm sorry for the teamkill."

Opening console:
1. Click the little Steam Icon in the taskbar and select library.
2. Right click on Day of Defeat: Source and click Properties.
3. Click Set Launch Options and type “-console” without the “”.
4. Restart Day of Defeat: Source and you will have the console automatically enabled all the time.
