EU and other global members can always invite their friends and people they know who play dods, to join our server (over steam and not on other servers of course). If done so successfully over time, the server could consistently be populated during the day/night regardless of your time zone.
Other than that, I feel like our server has always had decent success with populating the server during the later hours and members can always encourage regulars to invite their friends to the server, be active on the forums or submit an application, etc.
I wasn't too sure where to stand on this when I had originally read this topic but headshot has put into words what I think my subliminal was feeling. We can only do what we can do and we're very limited on this platform (DOD:S).
Not to mention, branching out into other games means buying new servers, populating them, making our mark, etc. I think that would take away from our close-knit community and friendly feel. Everyone knows everyone here and I like that. I remember being part of huge Clans in the past for CS:S (400+ active members) and you really only know the people you saw in game and I honestly disliked it. I like the fact that I have mostly everyone here on Steam and its a cozy community feel.
Just my two cents though.
