ok here are some of my picks. now ill let you know i am a die hard bruins fan coming from as new england far east in new hampshire so excuse me if some of my picks might be bias.
forwards:
1.Boston; C: Tyler Seguin , lets face it this kid is amazing and he is only getting better. he has speed, great puck handling and precision passing.
2. Boston; L:Milan Lucic , ok here is a guy that has size, strength, and opens himself up to great opportunities. he is a force that can compete with the best and has muscle and no fear to get the job done. ,makes excellent screens and rebounds.
3. Philly; R:Claude Giroux, excellent forward, strong, fast and great at throwing shots on goal.
Defense
Boston; D: Zdeno Chara, probably one of the best defensemen in the league, actually is. he is like a brick wall on ice. standing at 6'9" off skates weighing in at a solid and ripped 255lbs. with his size he skates amazing along with his outstanding reach to deter and strip the puck from rushing forwards. the guy played an average of 28 minutes last season per game. his stamina is great. that along with the record for the fastest slapshot he is hands down the best defensemen in nhl.
Toronto; D: Dion Phaneuf, puts in great effort, willing to take hits to move puck. great player and impressive to watch.
Pittsburgh; D: Kris Letang, awesome defensemen, does his job and does it well. energetic tough and can skate.
Goalie
Boston; G: Tim The Brickwall Thomas, okay there cannot be an arguement here. the guy comes back from an injury for last season and just matrix's pucks. there is a reason he won the Vezina Trophy, the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Stanley Cup last year. quite a feat for someone at his age and he plays like he has another 10 years to go. agile, fast, and reflexes of a 20 year old. no contention here.
theres most of my favorites. i woulda put in more bruins because they do have an outstanding roster but i figured i would spare you all
